What Shall We Do About Men?
In this newsletter I consider an age-old question; what shall we do about men?
I may be biased here because of my unnaturally large penis, but I think men are simply grand. They are the best thing to ever happen to the world, and the world would be duller without them.
However, despite this, men can be the worst things on earth. And they are regularly so.
Imagine the worst villain ever. Imagine that he embodies all the horrible things you can ever imagine. Imagine that he’s the devil himself.
He’s a guy, isn’t he? The fact that men are regularly so mindbogglingly evil is a problem that society has to confront. Every society has to sit down and ask itself an extremely important question; what shall we do with men?
One might wonder why that question is so important. Why are men so vital to civilization? What is it about men that makes them so important? Why can they not be ignored?
**************
In today’s fantastic world, it’s quite common to hear the myth of gender equality espoused as fact. Young children, or simple adults who don’t think seriously about these issues, accept the idea of gender equality quite easily.
Of course, they think, men and women are equal. Some may even say everything a man can do, a woman can do better. That particular saying reminds me of an argument I had with my uncle when I was about seven.
I’m not sure how it started, but it ended with him posing a question at me. He asked me what I think men can do that women cannot do. I thought long and hard about this and replied that women cannot drive. He laughed and told me about my mum’s friend who was a good driver.
At that point, I was stumped. I couldn’t think of anything that a man could do that a woman couldn’t do. As you all know, I come from really good stock, and my uncle is a genius in his own right.
He immediately informed me that women could give birth, and men couldn’t. Hence, he argued, it’s even likely that women are not just equal to men, but superior. To eight-year-old me, this was an extraordinary discovery.
For some reason, arguing that women are superior to men because of a biological function — such as giving birth — isn’t seen as heresy. You’d hardly have a pile on anywhere if you said something like that. However, I believe this sort of argument is merely a balm to soothe women.
It’s like an adult telling a child that they would get ice cream in the future if they behaved.
Don’t you know that women are even superior to men? Don’t you know that you’re strong and can give birth? Why bother about equality when you can be superior? Who runs the world? GIRLS! THE FUTURE IS FEMALE!
My friend calls arguments like that copium, because it’s a way to get people to cope with the misfortune of their circumstances. In a way, I agree. It isn’t just copium for women, though. It’s copium for society because we really don’t know what to do with men.

Men, The Bad
This is an unnatural newsletter because it was written over two weeks while I was in different states of mind.
Anyway, we are here now. When faced with the question of men, society has to contend with the bad. While it may not seem like it, men aren’t perfect. Yeah, of course, no one is perfect. But men— males as a whole, can be horrific human beings.
Look up every violent crime you can think of, and men rule. The most heartless criminal you’ve ever heard of is a man. Men make up almost all the psychopaths in every country ever made everywhere on earth.
When suicide bombings became a staple of terrorist actions, men led the charge. The 9/11 planes were hijacked by men. Men aren’t even constrained by such ideas as self-preservation. Their capacity to buy into ridiculous ideas in the pursuit of terror and harm is incredible.
Every terrorist cell in every country everywhere on earth is led by men and made up of men. School shooters? All male. The most psychopathic deranged and brutal serial killers are all men too.
When it comes to rape, men take the cake as well. Almost every violent rape you hear of was perpetrated by a man. And these men don’t just rape once. They are serial rapists. Many of them can only really enjoy sex if it’s committed through rape. It’s the sort of depravity that you only find amongst the most twisted of human beings, and almost all of this depravity is found among men.
Men are not just powerful, they are also violent. They don’t just win fights because they can, they seek out fights and fight because they want to. There are many, many, many examples of men simply beating their wives and children into a coma because of a slight disagreement. There are many examples of random acts of violence committed by men on strangers.
These acts of violence are so random that even the perpetrators don’t know why they do it. They just felt like hitting someone, and they did.
The worst part of this all is that this tendency for the great horribles in men gets displayed from a young age. Today we tend to believe in the fiction that men only become adults at the arbitrary age of 18. That may be true legally speaking, but men already start displaying these horrible attributes before they are even 18.
Once the male child starts puberty, his aggressiveness and his capacity for intense violence shoots up. The average gang killer, for example, started murdering long before 18. The same goes for the rapist and all other such criminals.
Hence, every society that has to deal with men is dealing with a situation where half of the demographic has the capacity for all of the worst things in the world, and acquires that capacity before they are eighteen. Men aren’t just dangerous to others, they are dangerous to themselves and society at large. In some ways, they are a tumor that ordinary analysis would suggest cutting out.
You might not realize this, but this is a huge problem for any society to deal with. But even this analysis doesn’t show the full scale of the problem.

Men, The Good
Despite being the reservoir of all things bad and harmful, men are extremely useful to any society. In fact, one wouldn’t be completely wrong to say that men built human civilization or the physical aspects of it at least.
Every physical infrastructure in every society everywhere on earth was built by men. Houses, tools — everything that makes a civilization a civilization was built by men. It’s not just true in ancient days, but true in modern ones as well. Every physical wonder of technology — even one as small as the iPhone, was engineered and built by men.
This isn’t just true in the west. It’s also true in every society where these things are built. Most mechanics are men, most groundbreaking scientists are made, most groundbreaking scientific discoveries are made by men, and most paradigm-changing discoveries in any field are made by men.
Most people who work the hardest and most dangerous jobs are men, and most people who die at those jobs are men. This is obtainable in every society everywhere on earth.
But even that is just one area where men outperform women. Societies don’t just arise out of the ether. In many cases, they have to fight to exist and to continue existing.
The demographic that this responsibility falls on? Men. Most soldiers everywhere on earth are men, and most people killed in combat are men.
This penchant of men to serve as “protectors” as it were doesn’t just end with external threats. It’s the same with internal threats as well. Most of the police force of any country is staffed by men. Most of the people who die in internal skirmishes are men. Most people who die in gang-related violence are men as well.
Again, this trend is obtainable in every society everywhere on earth.
The politics of any given society is primarily piloted by men. Most elected representatives of any country anywhere in the world are men. Most executive officers are men. Most lawmakers in any country anywhere are men. Most cabinet officers and ministers in most countries are men.
Hence, men are almost certainly in the driving seat of any given society. They decide what laws are made, why they are made, and how they are enforced. In every sense, human civilization is a male creation.

Men, The Ugly
What we have now is a situation where the worst things in society are done by half of society. Coincidentally, it’s that same half that propels society forward and keeps it running structurally.
It’s like a situation where you’re living with a serial killer who could kill you at any time, but also maintains the house and provides you with food. What do you do, then?
What do you do with men?
This is the primary question that all societies must answer. If you give men too much leeway, you end up creating a society that caters to the worst of humanity. If you don’t give them enough leeway, you end up creating a society that is simply paralyzed. It cannot move forwards or backwards.
An even harder question is how do you even attempt to not give men enough freedom to do whatever they want? How do you control them? Because to even control men, you need other men on your side.
The answer to that question is religion. In today's progressive discuss, the fashionable way to view religion is as a way to control women. Of course, this worldview isn’t totally baseless Women in every society make up most religious adherents. Secondly, on its face, women do seem subjected to a lot of rules about their conduct.
Islam, for example, treats women like children. In many Islamic countries, women must have a male guardian when they are out and about. In some, they cannot even drive. Now, I am not saying women can drive anyway, but you get the point.
However, Islam also imposes rules on men. For one, it says that men must provide for their wives and children no matter what. In fact, Islam goes as far as making the popular female argument that a woman’s money is hers and the man’s money is for the family.
A man must also protect his family, physically or otherwise. This means that men are religiously obligated, if needed, to lay down their lives for their families and by extension the state. It’s not quite the expectation to always have a male guardian, but it’s a significant obligation, especially in war-ridden societies.
Asides from that, Islam provides an outlet for male restlessness and sexual deviancy. It allows men multiple wives and allows them channel their blood thirst through war. Instead of banning these tendencies of men, the goal is to channel them into something worthwhile for the state.
In the end, this social arrangement also treats women like a reward for men who manage to stay within norms. And the means for enforcing these norms? Other men who enjoy this arrangement.
So even if a group of men cannot be controlled by these norms, there will be many other men who are willing to enforce the rules because it benefits them.
That’s just a case study of Islam, but in general, that’s how most religions work. They try to control men and channel man’s worst attributes to useful causes. Not doing that would mean unlimited freedom for the worst of men. And that would mean total societal collapse.
You might want to argue that religion does the same for women too. However, it’s useful to understand that the infantilization of women is merely a side effect of religion’s main effect — controlling men.
Indeed, If society wanted to control women as many suggest, they would hardly need religion to do it. Many reading this letter have watched the Hand Maiden’s tale, and one feminist has even told me that the story is quite comparable to what was obtainable before modernization. Of course, that’s blatantly false.
If you don’t know what the Hand Maiden’s tale is, it’s a series about a fictional society where women are completely controlled by men. They have no rights of their own and are slaves who bear children for men.
I understand why women with a masochistic kink like to believe that the story is somewhat analogous to any human society. Indeed, the writer of the story, Margaret Atwood, makes no disguise of her belief that the story is analogous to current human society.
I believe the story itself is nothing more than a display of Atwood’s poorly disguised fetish. But that’s by the by.
The difficult thing one must realize anyway is that if men wanted to create a society like Gilead (the name of the country where the events of the Handmaid's tale take place), then there’s nothing stopping them but men.
If men wanted to enslave every female in sight and turn them into sex slaves, the only impediment to that would be other men. If men collectively decided that rape was good, there would be nothing but other men to stop them. If they decided that one should beat their wives, no one would stop them but other men. The only reason why society isn’t a hellscape for everyone else is that many men are willing to stop other men from being bastards.
Hence, it follows that religion may control women, but that’s hardly a primary effect of it. It’s nothing more than a side effect.
Unfortunately for us, religion has fought a losing war against science, and every day people are getting baptized into the soulless religion of free-range luxury gay space anarcho-atheism (I have a newsletter on this term). It follows that society must find other ways to control men and bend them to its will.
While FRLGSAA isn’t quite in vogue in Nigerian society yet, we can take some lessons from where it is in vogue — the west. The west’s solution to the problem of men isn’t to channel male talents and deviances into useful avenues but to demonize them entirely.
It’s fashionable today to hear academics speaking of terms like toxic masculinity and other such nonsense. There’s a push to somewhat destroy male spaces where male camaraderie flourishes. There have also been efforts at feminizing men and one might even hear therapists tell men that it’s virtuous to cry and be vulnerable.
I have choice words for these attempts at lobotomizing what it means to be male, but that will be for another letter. In essence, the goal of progressive western society is to neuter men like one does a hyperactive dog.
The simple criticism I have for this is this; it simply won’t work. The duality of men, as a group, is that the same things that push them towards assholery are the sort of things that pushed them towards greatness.
A combative young boy can become an important soldier if his aggressiveness is channeled toward the right cause. A stoic young man who “keeps everything in” might just be the stable head you need in perilous times. Societies that stifle male instincts because of their capacity for evil aren’t just stifling the evil that comes with those instincts. They are also stifling the good. They are essentially throwing away the baby with the bath water and patting themselves on the back for murder.
There are some people who believe that the reason men behave in this manner is because of environmental and/or socioeconomic conditions. They believe that if society can just raise their men better, they would suddenly stop displaying all of this rabidly antisocial behavior. They are the sort of people who campaign to men and ask them to "Say No To Rape" (like a rapist is likely to care about such nonsense).
Such campaigns never work because society already does its best to stamp out antisocial behavior from young men. The problem isn't really with how men are nurtured, but with the nature of men itself. That's why the same pattern holds in every society ever created everywhere in the world — despite those societies having very different cultures and traditions.
The question that all these societies end up having to deal with remains this; what do we do with men? How do we keep all of their good and none of their bad?
The short answer is that you cannot. However, what you can do is cull the population. I know what the meaning of the word cull is, and I don’t use it carelessly here.
Let me tell you a story about a tiny state in South America that did something extraordinary through this advice.
*********
El Salvador, South America.
Any state that grapples with a high rate of violent crime isn’t just grappling with crime, it’s grappling with a male problem. Almost all violent criminals are men, and any society that allows these men to get out of control will inevitably have to deal with a violent crime problem.
One such country was El Salvador. For a long time, El Salvador suffered from a gang problem. The country had thousands of gang members who made sport of killing themselves and other innocents. By 2012, the small country had an average of 16 murders per day.
These wanton murders were also indicative of the spate of other crimes. Robberies, rapes, assaults, drug trafficking, and other associated crimes were off the charts. Ordinary citizens were living in as close an approximation of the state of nature as Hobbes himself could imagine.
The solution to the problem couldn’t just be more laws, because gang members didn’t respect laws. The law also provided significant protection for gang members, and in essence, limited the extent to which the state could act. This created a situation where gang members — almost all male — held the state hostage.
Since the gangs were winning this national warfare, even more men joined them. After all, people want to be on the side of the winners. The problem continued abated until someone decided to change the state’s approach towards this problem.
That person was Nayib Bukele. Nayib first entered my consciousness when he started buying Bitcoin in a bid to create a Bitcoin city. It was a revolutionary idea, but it was also a stupid one. Bitcoin cannot be a global currency, it’s simply not set up to be one.
But I digress.
Outside of his strange obsession with Bitcoin, Nayib had one more obsession; ending gang violence in El Salvador. Nayib understood that the problem of gang violence wasn’t one of the ghosts of socio-economic conditions spurring young and ignorant men to crime.
He understood that it was one of very specific men behaving in a very specific manner. He understood that the only way to end gang violence is to take out gang members. So that’s what he did. He put pressure on the legislature to pass hardline laws about gangs and removed the legal protections that the law gave them. He then quite literally went about arresting everyone with a gang tattoo.
It didn’t matter whether you were caught committing a crime, or had retired from your gang-related behaviors. The police went into the street with guns, shot at gang members regardless, and arrested them.
The logic was simple to Nayib. If there are no more gang members, there won’t be gang-related crimes. After all, these gangs committed the crimes, they weren’t committed by an atmosphere of poverty. They aren’t committed by discrimination or even socioeconomic conditions. They were committed by very specific men, and those specific men had to be taken out.
These men weren’t just taken out temporarily either. The state literally built new mega prisons to house the thousands of arrests they were making. They treated gang members who had tattoos like members of a foreign army and imprisoned them like prisoners of war.
This entire operation has been going on for about a year now, and recently El Salvador celebrated 300 days without a single homicide. It may even become a year if things continue like this. The state — populated by men — had waged war on the gangs — also populated by men — and had won.
In some ways, what happened in El Salvador was a male civil war. In fact, all wars are male civil wars.
******
It seems to me that the solution to the male problem is one that societies of all types have implemented long before now.
Most societies take special interest in young boys at a young age. They expose these boys to useful channels for them to express their inbuilt aggressiveness.
In ancient societies, that channel was the army. Today, it’s sports. But the solution remains the same; young men must have an avenue to express themselves — with all the aggressiveness that comes with it.
Now, there are young men who cannot be mounded to become good and useful citizens. There will always be men like that. The solution to those men isn’t to cuddle them or tell ourselves the unending myth of socio-economic conditions. Society didn't create those men. Their genes did.
The solution is to remove them from the population. Most killers are serial killers. Most rapists are serial rapists. Most robbers? You get it. These men can never change, and it’s not in the interest of society to hope that they change.
Medieval societies solved this problem by executing these men — no matter how young they were. Modern society might be far too drunk on its own Kool-Aid to do that, but at least it can learn from El Salvador. Remove these men from the population, and imprison them.
Men aren’t a monolith. There are good and bad men. The only solution for bad men is to remove them so that the good ones can thrive. That is what I believe we should do about men.
“Why the hell did you send this on International Women’s day”
— some retard, probably.
A second quote.
“I think women are foolish to pretend they are equal to men. They are far superior and always have been. Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she will give you a baby. If you give her a house, she will give you a home. If you give her groceries, she will give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she will give you her heart. She multiples and enlarges whatever is given to her. So if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit"
William Golding.
(Yes I know I didn't send a letter for like two weeks. It totally wasn't my fault. I was preoccupied with elections. Anyway, by the time you read this I probably would have crossed the 300 subscriber mark. Thanks to everyone who made this possible!)
This was amazingly comprehensive.
