The experience i had with a staunch Lord’s Chosen woman in business(in computer village) left quite a bitter taste. She sold accessories (protector, pouch, cases and all).

One thing I noticed was that, on the TV in her store, the only thing on show was Lord’s Chosen services 24/7 non stop, while she herself cheated me when i once went to get stuff from her, which turned out bad, and she never acknowledged it or returned my money.

Anyways, i’d like you to do a research on JWs, Deeper Life, Celestial church and the rest if you can. And if you are up to it, maybe you’d get into the Islamic aspect 😂😂😂.

Want to know differences between these religious institutions and outright Jim Jones, David Koresh-type cults.

Going to a mosque will be different except you go on Friday or attend one of those Asalatu.

I felt it all amusing, however the more I read the more I realized you described a cult, mental health issues and a coping mechanism of their present environment. Grim.

As a former Christian brings back pain filled memories... Reading on.

“They also distanced themselves from regular community, as they believed that others were sinners destined to hell.”

I’m not sure I understand what you mean here. Yes, they separated themselves but they still went out and preached the gospel to them. And then persecution arose that facilitated the spread of the gospel beyond Jerusalem. The way your sentence is structured makes it appear as if they had a superior attitude to people who weren’t believers which wasn’t the case. Could you please clarify?

I think it just follows human logic that one would see themselves as superior to sinners. Don’t you think you’re morally superior to a sinful person?

Actually, no. What I think is that I am everything I am by grace through faith. It is not by my works, so I cannot boast. What good acts could I do to impress the one who created the idea of good? I cannot saunter around lifting my shoulders higher than sinners. I was once one. Whether I am moral or immoral, without Christ, I am not righteous.

“Please note that I am not mocking anyone, as I also struggle with poverty” is a very good disclaimer. 😭

Please also add Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement (WCCRM) to your list!! I will pay very good money to read that 😂. Apparently that was the church Lazarus Muoka was a pastor in before he ventured out.

Growing up, I remember reading a chunk of their magazines which was sent to my mum when she was ill. Funny memory.
