Has to be the longest piece I’ve read on Substack and I love every bit it, ironically. Not its sickening content, of course, but the way you convey the Nigerian truth.

It’s sad and what’s even more depressing is that it is a dynamic that is not likely to change anytime soon.

It's much worse out in the streets. I know what my eyes have seen, ears have heard, and mouth can't form the words to say. The two sides of the Nigerian coin.

Amazing essay. Deliciously scathingly ironic as usual, and also very true. Made my afternoon.

What's crazy is the validation these people seek and get at the hands of religious institutions. There are Basits out there going to choice pastors for Christ's intervention, going to Alfas for soap. It's crazy out there.

Lmaoo. You talked about Yahooze and forgot to mention that Secretary of State of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (Colin Powell) danced to the song on live TV.

Very disgraceful and they keep happening. I couldn't even know what to make of the Lambo story and how it was a story for days.

I think you mean _2 divides 4_

Not 2 divided by 4

Excellent article nonetheless.

Reminds me of when I wanted to buy honey and they ridiculously wanted to rip me off by saying the small bottles were all for 4k because their main customers are Yahoo boys and pastors

Dope essay. Many truths but nothing will change. Society does not allow the accomodations of honest work. And guys and ladies nowadays are no longer serious with education, they believe fraud and hookup is their way to wealth.

Omg 😭 I just checked the lyrics to Mobolowowon. I don’t think too many people knew the part about trying out credit card fraud. I really thought he was implicated for impregnating someone or something like that😭
